Executive Leadership Team

As Chief Operating Officer, Joanna provides strategic and operational leadership across a diverse portfolio of corporate functions, including finance, human resources, information technology and cybersecurity, the project management office, and facilities management. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, she is responsible for business planning, enterprise-wide quality and risk management, and business analytics.  

As Corporate Secretary to the FP Canada™ Board of Directors, Joanna supports the Board and executive leadership with best-in-class corporate governance practices to ensure long-term organizational resilience and accountability. 

Since joining FP Canada in June 2015, Joanna has led a team focused on optimizing operational efficiency, driving cross-functional collaboration and aligning internal operations with the organization’s strategic objectives, ensuring that FP Canada is well-positioned for future growth and sustainability.  

Joanna has extensive management experience in the not-for-profit and public sector. Prior to joining FP Canada, Joanna held several leadership roles at The Hospital for Sick Children and Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, including Deputy Chief Financial Officer at The Hospital for Sick Children. Joanna started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she earned her CA designation working in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services group. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University.
