Candidates Pursuing CFP® Certification Impacted by COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CIFP and CSI have suspended all in-person exams in Canada until further notice. This has affected the ability of some students to complete their education requirements for CFP certification.

Education exceptions now available

If you are a CIFP or CSI student who has been impacted by this and who has completed all other courses in your FP Canada Core and/or Advanced Curriculum stream, the FP Canada Institute is now allowing you to enrol in the CFP Professional Education Program (and the pre-requisite Introduction to Professional Ethics course). This exception will allow you to continue with your preparation towards the next sitting of the CFP exam in November 2020 or later.
